What is allowed on the pitch?

The host decides what you may do on site. In the listing, a symbol shows which of the three options applies.

Parking only

Parking and sleeping in your vehicle are allowed. Chairs, tables and other equipment stay inside. Typical for car parks close to town centres.

Folding chairs allowed

You may set up chairs and a table. When you leave the pitch, you pack everything back into your vehicle. Typical for pitches run by municipalities, mountain railways or restaurants.

Camping allowed

Camping is allowed and your things may stay outside. Please keep things tidy. Typical for municipalities, campsites, farms and private hosts.

Five rules that always apply

• Treat everyone on site in a friendly and respectful way.
• Follow the host's pitch rules.
• Take care of nature and animals.
• Dogs must be kept on a lead unless running free is expressly allowed.
• Leave the pitch clean. Taking other people's rubbish with you earns karma points. ;-)
