Everything you need to know about nature pitches, and what it takes as a host to offer pitches for campers in the middle of nature.
Away from the crowds and the campsite plots, simply being outdoors: for many campers, that is what travel is all about. Nature pitches stand out for their unique setting close to nature and are seen as the ultimate way to camp. But there are a few things to keep in mind. Respect for wildlife and nature comes first, though it is far from the only rule to follow.
You can drive to our hosts' nature pitches at any time, spontaneously and without a reservation. Check-in works through the web app. Nature pitches often have little infrastructure and are almost exclusively suited to self-sufficient campervans and motorhomes.
List your nature pitch on Parkn'Sleep and welcome your guests the easy way. You decide on the pitch rules yourself, for example whether only self-sufficient campers with a toilet are allowed.
Campers arrive spontaneously and handle check-in, check-out and payment directly in the web app at the Check-in Point. So as a host, you don't need to be on site. There's no reservation work and no unnecessary guest communication.
Besides the digital pitch rules, the web app also offers live availability, parking control, payment processing and direct tourist tax payments.
Treating people, animals and nature with respect goes without saying. Travel as self-sufficiently as possible and leave the pitch the way you would like to find it. Take rubbish with you, even if it isn't yours. That earns you serious karma points.
The host owns, leases or rents the nature pitch, and it lies outside hazard zones, wildlife reserves and hunting ban areas. The pitch and the access road are freely accessible at all times. There is mobile reception on the pitch (for check-in).
Nature pitches are often remote. Before you go, find out about availability, self-sufficiency and the requirements for your vehicle. In extreme cases, access may only be possible with a 4x4, or you may need an onboard toilet. Always follow the pitch rules.

With Parkn'Sleep, you can offer nature pitches to campers without having to be there yourself. Clear pitch rules, availability and digital check-in on site make it possible. Places that used to be overused without any control, for example because of tips in geotag apps, can now be offered to campers in a simple and legal way.
Rules without legal jargon, routes with a guaranteed place to sleep and stories from hosts.
