The surrounding clear water is full of fish and the forest is full of mushrooms and rare animals and plants. Above the lake, several islands "Wronie Kępy" are a refuge for waterfowl, grey heron and white-tailed eagle. Meanwhile, the neighboring town of Gizycko (5 minutes) offers many cultural and recreational attractions.
